The first LEDIB Programme Press conference took place on Monday, March 10th 2008 at Media Center Nis.



The Press conference was organized with the purpose of announcing beginning of LEDIB Programme implementation phase.

Press Conference participants were:

Mr Milan Randjelovic, Cluster Development Expert, LEDIB programme
Mr Dejan Jovanovic, director, Republic Agency for SME development, member of LEDIB Programme National Programme Committee
Ms Jasna Stevovic, Nis Region Coordinator, Republic Agency for SME development 



Mr. Carsten Lund explained LEDIB Programme Implementation phase, his professional background, reasons why LEDIB is implemented in Nisava District and why Danish SME development experts are valuable for Nisava District SME sector.

Mr. Dejan Jovanovic explained the Republic Agency’s for SME development view on LEDIB Programme   importance for Nisava District Economic and SME development. Mr. Jovanovic offered full support to LEDIB Programme and underlined that this is a good example of coordination between Government strategies and institutions and Donor programmes and their activities. Mr. Jovanovic called upon all local public and private sector representatives to support and join LEDIB programme activities.

Mr. Milan Randjelovic explained the LEDIB programme subcomponents, listed possible partners, specific support activities of the Programme, outlined that this is fully transparent programme and called upon possible partners to join LEDIB programme.

All main electronic media and newspapers representatives from local and national media were present. Media were called to contact LEDIB Programme when they need information related to the Programme, and also to come to regular LEDIB Programme Press conferences which will be organized during the implementation phase.
