Module 4 of LED Training for Municipalities is focusing of Foreign Direct Investment as one of the most important tools in the economic development of the municipality. The training will cover a number of topics related to FDI and the municipal role in FDI.

Municipalities of Nisava District and City of Nis are participating in the event which will take place in Vrnjacka Banja at Hotel Sunny Hill. Municipal Employees will have a chance to spend 3 days (March 30th - April 3rd 2009) with the professional consultants with vast experience in FDI topics and municipal administration. At the same time they will have a chance to meet some investors who will offer their unique perspective.

LED Training is a cruicial component of education of municipal employees, so they can successfully participate in the process of local economic development.The goal of the whole training package (all 4 modules) is to improve the skills and capacities of local self-governments of the Nisava District to facilitate development.
