The first of five seminars on the subject of the application of tax laws was held in Hotel Aleksandar on 4th April 2009 in the frame of the sub-component LEDIB programme for the development of the business services market.

Eminent experts in the sphere of tax legislation (company FIN-TAX Belgrade) with 16 workshop participants, members of the Association bookkeeping agencies from Niš (URAN), reviewed the following topics: 1) Application of regulations on interest write-off due to the obligations under certain taxes and contributions for compulsory social insurance, 2) Deferment of payment of tax debt in accordance with the Law on tax procedure and tax administration, 3) Reconciliation of tax obligations through compensation.

The seminar is specifically tailored to the needs of bookkeeping agencies, enterprises from the sphere of financial and tax consulting. The ultimate goal of training is the introduction of new services in the range of accounting and tax consulting agency in terms of improving the quality of services aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in Nis.
