LEDIB Cluster House members actively participated at the National Agency for Regional Development Program of Support to Entrepreneurs Associations 2011 Competition by submitting their project proposals. Proposals of Medical Start-up Cluster, Association of Business Women Nis, Association of Businesspeople Svrljig, Association of Businesspeople Aleksinac, Association of Businesspeople Gadzin Han, Association of Businesspeople Doljevac and Association of Businesspeople Razanj were accepted.

This Program offers grants to associations of entrepreneurs in Republic of Serbia for the implementation of projects contributing to promotion of their activities as well as those of their members.

Program objectives are:

  • Businesspeople associations capacity strengthening and expanding the range of services they provide,
  • Affirmation of joining and networking of entrepreneurs,
  • Contribution to raising the level of entrepreneurial culture,
  • More even regional development of entrepreneurship,
  • Establishment and development of public-private partnerships.

As LEDIB Cluster House members expressed the need for further professional development, project proposals were based on the activities related to general trainings for management and employees of Association members, through trainings that provide qualifications of mutual interest.

After the official MoU is signed with the National Agency, the project implementation would start. All the activities will have to be completed by December 16, 2011. In this way, LEDIB Cluster House members are becoming more and more recognizable not only in the region, but at the national level as well, as associations of entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises who are drivers of economic and regional development and worth investing into.

National Agency for Regional Development, together with Belgrade Fair, is organizing Business Base 2011 - the 10th International Fair of Entrepreneurship, at Belgrade Fair Hall 1 from December 1 – 3, 2011.
