On September 6, 2011, LEADER Project Team Leader Dr Marko Koscak and Pedja Markovic, National Coordinator, visited LEDIB Programme in order to share information on the opportunities for inter-program cooperation. Accompanied by LEDIB representatives, after the meeting they visited:
After the first meeting of LEADER/EU Programme and Danish Programme for Local Economic Development LEDIB, Management Teams of both programmes agreed that the cooperation among the two should be established in order to implement activities of mutual benefit for partners – program beneficiaries. The result is an idea about MoU signing in order to create formal legal platform for joint initiatives.
LEADER Management Team suggested that the first form of cooperation should start by delegating 2-3 representatives of LEDIB Programme partners to participate at LEADER’s III informative workshop to be held in Bajina Basta from September 28-29. The goal of the workshop is to better inform the participants on opportunities for cooperation with LEADER program whose official implementation started in February 2011, and will last till March 2013.
LEADER Project is 1.4 million euro worth and is more than just a project. LEADER stands for initiative of support to rural Serbia, groups and institutions that could be efficient partners in continuation of efforts related to local rural development and promotion of mid-term and long-term progress.
October is the traditional month of food, as, among other events, World Food Day is observed on October 16 and International Chefs Day on October 20.
