This traditional international conference was held this year on Vlasina Lake and in Surdulica on July 10-11, and organized by SCE Regional Chamber Nis under auspices of Serbian Chamber of Engineers. Days of Chamber represents regional cooperation of South-East Europe Chambers of Engineers, and the main topics were South-East Serbia Development Program and International Networking and Cooperation of Chambers of Engineers. Apart from Chamber’s President and distinguished members of SCE Assembly, representatives of Chambers from Bulgaria, FYROM and Montenegro also participated in the event.

Agenda consisted of topics from all the areas of construction, and special attention was paid to the idea on improvement and ways to better use energy and development potentials of Nisava, Jablanica and Pcinja Districts.

During the second half of scientific sessions, one topic raised a great interest, and that was Development of Construction Activities in Nisava region, supported by LEDIB Programme - OPEKA-BRICK Construction Cluster from Nis (Zoran Zlatkovic, General Manager of the Cluster).

All the participants and guests had the chance to learn about an idea and vision of a construction cluster for the first time. By presenting the concept and mission of this way of associating, along with action plan and implemented activities, OPEKA-BRICK cluster opened the door to a wider range of future activities. Cluster representatives met their colleagues from the whole region, and this was their first presentation for the eminent international experts in construction business.

 

Construction Start-Up Cluster also made a presentation of its activities.

DI visits the General Assembly


Danish Industrial Confederation, international partner of “Capacity Building in RCC Nis” project, invited a four-member delegation of RCC Nis and LEDIB Programme to participate in the yearly DI General Assembly in Copenhagen in September 2010.
