Municipality of Gadžin Han and Municipality of Lolland through LEDIB Programme are starting cooperation on the first renevable energy municipal project in Nišava District. Project includes the development of a feasibility study and a business model for buidling a first PV Park (Solar Power Station) on the territory of Municipality of Gadžin Han.

During the previous week experts from Lolland have been visiting Gadžin Han, scanning locations and trying to interpret local regulations and administrative barriers for the implementation of such a project.

Along Lolland Municipality, a private investor Danish Solar Energy, Denmark’s oldest solar energy company, is a partner in the project with a business interest to jointly finance the actual investment in a PV Park once the feasibility study and business model are completed.

During 2012 LEDIB Programme will continue to support this project in the effort to secure the financing for the actual investment.
