The founding Assembly of Business Women Association was held on December 21, 2009. It is the result of partnership between Women’s Entrepreneurship Centre/RCE Nis and Danish LEDIB Programme in Nis.
LEDIB’s one-year technical support consists of office space use of TEODORA Women’s Entrepreneurship Centre/RCE Nis in Dobricka 2 street and hiring project coordinator, women’s entrepreneurship and legal consultants in order to implement registration procedure.
Support would also consist of capacity strengthening - research of Association members’ needs, workshops and trainings related to advocacy skills development, business networking with similar Associations in the country, making of bilingual web-site with Association members’ database, media coverage of its activities and promo-material making.
Association’s vision is to enable proper business environment for women in business in Nis and Southeastern Serbia. All the business women and private enterprises owned by women can be members of the Association.
There are 25 members at the moment, and the new ones can register at the premises of Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship RCE Nis, Dobricka 2, every working day from 9:00 to 15:00. Phone line for information is 018/255-668, contact person Marija Randjelovic, Project Coordinator.

A group of teachers from Agricultural School “Sumatovac” from Aleksinac visited the Agricultural School “Green Academy” from Aarhus, Denmark from 10-16.01. This study tour, as well as the implementation of a twinning project between two schools was organized and financed by LEDIB Programme.
